The Japantown Community Benefit District keeps Japantown clean, safe and thriving. If the walk from the garage to the theater tonight feels easy and welcoming, that is them.
What they do.
Funded by an assessment on district property owners, the JCBD runs a Clean Team and Community Ambassadors who work the neighborhood seven days a week, supports local small businesses and promotes Japantown as the cultural destination it is.
Japantown is home to more than 200 small businesses, 2 hotels, 12 nonprofit organizations and 15 Legacy Businesses, all anchored by the Peace Pagoda, a gift from the people of Japan.
