Ninja Scroll at the Lark Theater.
The Lark is a historic Art Deco single-screen theater in downtown Larkspur, about 15 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. They are friends of the club, and the week after Perfect Blue they are screening Yoshiaki Kawajiri's Ninja Scroll (1993), remastered in 4K, on October 16 and 18.
If Perfect Blue is your kind of night, this is the next one. Hand-drawn 90s Madhouse animation on a real screen, the way it was meant to be seen.
